All winners found!

First and second place winners have contacted me. Lisa and E., congrats! Lisa chose the tote bag and E. chose the doll. That leaves the pincushion. I went back to random.org and chose another number. Linda Fleming, it was your number! If you email me at DollArtistCarla at aol dot com with your address, I will send it to you. :)

Here is a photo of the pier in Venice at sunrise. I used a treatment on it called HDR which is high dynamic range. You take 3 photos, without moving the camera, at -2,0,+2 exposure. I used a program called Photomatix Pro to combine the photos and fix the tone. There is more to it than that but maybe you can get an idea. I love doing this but don't think of it very often.

  5. Carla, that photo is BEAUTIFUL! You sure do know your way around a camera. I just have mine set to AUTO then point and shoot. I know there is so much more I could be doing with it....maybe one day, I'll actually sit down and study the book. LOL
