An Angel Landed

Last fall I was in a swap put on by Helen. I found out that Vickie had been forgotten by her partner so I stepped in to be an angel. 'Bout the closest I'm going to get LOL I forgot to take photos of everything I sent her. A tote bag, 2 pincushions, sewing kit, stained glass suncatcher that I made, some fat quarters and a few other things. Here is one photo from her site. Please visit to see the rest. I love doing this. It's so much fun.

  1. Oh Carla, I just went to her blog, how lucky she was to have you step in as an angel for her! You really outdid yourself, and you can tell she loved every thing you sent. You are so kind. Also, I forgot to tell you love the new header and the picture of Anna Grace!

  5. That is really sweet of you to send that to someone. I have heard of tatting swaps going awry on occasion and someone getting "burnt" by their swap partner. That is sweet of you to make sure no one felt left out!

I blog hopped over here "Forever Stitching" who just showed off the beautiful pincushion you made! :)

  6. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. Yes, I do know who Mark Meyers and Georgia Seitz are! I have some of their books, too! That is cool that you used to tat! I hope you pick up the shuttles again and show off your stuff on your blog! Be sure and let me know if you do, okay! :)
