Pincushion swap

Finally finished something. 2 down and 2 to go. Don't think I'm going to swap again for awhile. I just can't seem to get motivated. Here is a photo of the pincushion for the swap that is shown at right. This one is hand sewn and my poor arthritic fingers were cramping up big time! OW! EDIT: Cheryl finally got it! It took a long time to make it to Canada!

Here is the pretty one I got from Sylvia of Holland. Thank you Sylvia! Unfortunately her package was ripped open so if anything else was in it, it is gone now.

Carla! Your pincushion is so beautiful! I was not in your swap, but I have just the pincushion I need to send to you when I get motivated. It's a most favorite little wooden figurine that has your name ALL over it! I have the same problem with my hands. Embroidery really makes me OW! Have a great week! Elizabeth

Both of them are darling Carla. I really like the one you made! An Autumn daisy would look cool with that design! Hope your fingers and hands feel better soon. Do you take Naproxen? I have carpal and tendinitis and Naproxen helps?!
Hugs!

The pin cushions are both lovely and I am glad you are caught up with swaps... you need a break. Go photo something fantastic to show us, like an insect or something and relax in the great outdoors.

And I am the VERY LUCKY AND HAPPY RECIPIENT of your LOVELY pin cushion, Carla. I received your parcel today and just LOVE your BEAUTIFUL pin cushion. How could you part with it? The colors are absolutely perfect...everything about it is perfect! Thank you very much for your hard work. However, I am truly sorry your hands are sore now and hope you find some relief for the pain soon. (I also have chronic nerve pain and osteoarthritis in my hands and sort of know the feeling from making the one I posted to Australia.) I still find sewing therapeutic even though I sometimes wonder why I still love sewing and doing all kinds of handiwork. I am very pleased with your whole package and will dearly treasure the pin cushion every time I admire it. I am keeping your mailing address and may even make a pin cushion in exchange someday...Please take care.
p.s. I will check to change my blog profile so my email address can be used.
