I am staggered that you say that is your first apron. At school we had cooking classes once a fortnight from grade 7 up. In the grade 7 sewing class we made an apron and cap to use in cooking classes. In junior school we embroidered an apron which was a cut out and hand sewn bias binding around the edge. Anyway after all that Great going I can see mor on the way.

I just uploaded some things to my Blog so please visit soon and leave a comment. I will upload more photos soon.
