Hi from Australia, Carla. Yes it is just unbelievable what happened in Toowoomba. Also lots of small places between there and my hometown of Ipswich which has flooded, and Brisbane?-one of our biggest cities.:( It is hard to imagine, and quite heartbreaking to know so many have lost everything. I moved to another state when I was young, and I am seeing the same images on TV as the rest of the world. I am fortunate in finding out that all of my family members are safe. The members of our craft forum are trying to help in whatever way they can. Some of the very talented ladies are auctioning their quilts, Jenny of Elefantz is one. plans are being made to make soft toys to donate for the children, and sewing packs for our fellow quilters/stitchers. It is a good feeling to know that people on the other side of the world, care and have Australia in their thoughts. hugs to you from Sandy. sandangels1945@hotmail.com
