This is the doll I sent my partner in Viv's Halloween Swap. The doll I received is in a post a couple below. I've named this one "Tessa and Her Prized Pumpkin"
See my bloomers? I think they are so cute. I included the fat quarter she is sitting on too but forgot a couple of things. Darn!
This little handbag was made using a pattern by Amy Butler called "Frenchy Bag"

FOCD Swap Doll
A Yahoo group I belong to (FOCD [Friends of Cloth Dolls])is having a rag doll swap. This pattern by Kezi Matthews is what I made for my partner Sue. I can't wait to see what she made me. Sue's favorite colors are the colors of sweet tarts so that is the name I gave this little girl. Little Miss Sweet Tart.
Edit: Oct. 27, Look at the pretty doll that Sue sent me for the rag doll swap! Her name is Candy Cane.

Noni Cely Doll Video Give-away
In 2001 I started making dolls and thought I had to have every pattern and video out there. I ordered this VHS video (Customizing Doll Patterns), watched it once and never did anything with it. It also came with the torso pattern. Sooooo, I decided to give it away. You can see it
here at the bottom of the page. Remember, this is NOT a DVD. It is VHS. Leave me a comment and on November 1, I'll draw a name for the video.

Found a house
We'll be moving tomorrow so won't be online until internet gets hooked up. I sure hope it isn't long.
We came back from Georgia 2 months ago and have been staying with my daughter. I didn't think it would take so long to find a place.

Pincushion Swap and Angel Swap
The pin cushion is for my partner in a pin cushion swap on an online group. The top has a yo-yo that matches the bottom of the pincushion and a pretty jeweled button. It is tacked to a candle holder. I added a few fat quarters to help steady it in the box. :) Edit: Monday, the 6th. I received Connie's pin cushion today. Here is her pretty one for me.
The bag and other things below is what I made for my partner in a secret angel swap. I made her a travel kit consisting of the tote, tissue holder, zippered pouch, travel case for mini cutting board (included) with a pin from our quilt shop here in town and a heart shaped needle case that I designed. I also added a needle threader, 3 heart pins, M&M calender for the next year, and a pumpkin cookie! I sure hope she likes her gift. UPDATE: Sharon of Red Geranium Cottage opened her gift and said she was very happy!

Yucky food!
Whoa Nelly!! Hubby and I stopped at Perkins tonight, this morning. It's 12:11 now am. THE worst coffee ever. The food was terrible!!! Greasy, bad tasting. I didn't eat a quarter of it. Last night it was the Waffle House and the food was "almost" as bad, but at least ate it.
