The cookie plate is empty

It was a nice day yesterday. Would you believe I forgot to take any photos!!! Darn! Beautiful daughter Rhonda, sweet son-in-law Gil and grandson Kaz came over for dinner. Actually lunch. We ate at 1. I made a sirloin tip roast with potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. Rhonda brought my favorite, green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese. We had lemon bars and sugar cookies for desert. After we opened a few presents and played a few games, Rhonda took Kaz home, then we went to a friends house for drinks and karaoke. I was surely tired when we got home at 9 but stayed up for another 4 hours! We left our friends house early and it was only a few blocks away so when Rhonda and Gil left, they stopped by the house to get some left-overs LOL I always make enough for take-homes.
I sincerely hope you all had a wonderful day.

Oh my gosh! The cookie plate was empty? Did that mean that Santa visited? :-) We are still waiting for Santa because our weather is so "unpredictable." Glad you had a wonderful Christmas - and thank you for visiting my blog, Carla! Nadine C
