I think I'll finish finally

I started sewing in 2000. I started out making dolls. In 2004 I wanted to try quilting. I never made much. I did a few wall hangings, table runners and a lap quilt for mom. Then I went back to dolls. Now I'm back to quilting and making handbags too. Can't make up my mind. LOL
This first wall hanging I designed for my daughter Rhonda. At that time she had a jungle themed home. I never did get it finished and hope to get off my duff now and do it.

This next one is a wall hanging I made for my granddaughter, also 2004, when she was 11. Now going on 17, I don't know if she would like it. I'm going to finish it anyway. My problem is the quilting part. I really mess it up. This twisted tail pattern can still be found here.

At the bottom of the first page of directions for twisted tails is a link for "find your lucky star quilt". It looks like twisted ribbons to me and looks like it would be beautiful made up. *sigh* someday.
Here is the link to the drawing of that one.

I think you did a fabulous job on both these tops. I would finish them too, never know when they might come in handy. Really nice work especially as new to quilting as you are.

Hi Carla, linked your blog from yahoo groups. Then I pulled up your dragon fly book since I LOVE dragonflies. Since you're a wiz and all can you identify this one that was in my backyard last summer?

I left a note on your blog Levi since there is no mail for you. I will leave the note here too. Utah is different from here but I'm fairly certain you have a Blue-eyed Darner. Take a look here:

I love the dolls I have seen on your blog. I started out making clothes for myself. I then moved to quilts and know I am stuck on purses and little bags. Who knows what I will decide to make next?

Thank you Melinda! One thing I always love making is shirts for Michael. Well, I sure love the little bags you made me! You and your husband are on my mind.
